About the founder
Vincenzo Anastasi has accumulated over a decade of tractor-trailer (Class A CDL) driving experience with a flawless 1.3-million-mile accident-free record and a clean history of DOT inspections. He continues to maintain an active presence on the road, ensuring his expertise remains current with the evolving challenges of modern infrastructure and the transportation industry. Originally from Italy, Vincenzo studied Information Technology and Statistics at the State Technical Industrial Institute. In September 2001 he started his own business as a professional software developer specialized in warehouse management software until 2012. In this high-pressure field, he mastered working within extremely tight timelines where accuracy and confidentiality were paramount; skills that translated into exceptional time management and a meticulous attention to detail.
After relocating to the United States, he followed a lifelong passion for the transportation industry and the "open road," launching his commercial driving career in 2014.
Vincenzo’s career has spanned a pivotal era of technological change. Trained on traditional "Paper-Logs" and manual transmissions, he successfully navigated the industry's transition to Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), automated transmissions and Advanced Vehicle Electronic Safety Device. This dual experience provides him with a rare, foundational understanding of the industry's evolution. Furthermore, his IT background allows for a deep understanding of the integration between software technologies, onboard safety devices, and the traditional skills required for safe tractor-trailer operation.
Throughout his career, Vincenzo has transported a diverse range of cargo—including hazardous materials, perishable foods, and industrial products—while operating equipment such as flatbeds, pneumatic bulk trailers, tankers, dump trailers, dry vans, and temperature-controlled units. This work has exposed him to high-risk environments in industrial plants, chemical facilities, and road construction sites, where he mastered specialized safety protocols and hazard mitigation. As a lifelong motorcyclist with over 30 years of riding experience, he also possesses a heightened "road-read" and a comprehensive safety perspective unique to multi-modal operators.
In addition to his field work, Vincenzo currently serves as the Executive Vice President of NAGE (National Association of Government Employees) Local R4-117. In this leadership role, he serves, with Integrity and Objectivity, as a subject matter expert in workplace safety and contract compliance. Leveraging his extensive training within the transportation industry and his mastery of DOT and FMCSA regulations, Vincenzo assists drivers, management, and other professionals in navigating regulatory compliance, performing safety inspections, and conducting thorough investigations into commercial vehicle accidents.
This foundation of excellence earned him various awards for outstanding customer service, a standard he continues to deliver in every professional engagement.
